Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar

Nightly dueling-piano shows – sing along.

About Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar

Pete’s Dueling Piano Bar opened its Nashville location in April 2025, at 152 2nd Avenue North, in the lower-level space that previously held the long-running Big Bang piano bar. The Pete’s brand started in Austin back in 1992 and now runs in several cities.

This is a dueling-piano bar, not a country honky-tonk, and that difference is the whole reason to come. The show is two piano players running an audience-request, sing-along format, heavy on rock and pop rather than country, from 8pm until close. The room covers about 10,000 square feet with capacity around 485 and a VIP area for groups up to roughly 65. There is no rooftop; it is a single below-grade room built for the show. The crowd is groups, birthdays, and bachelorette parties, the kind of night where everyone wants to be part of it rather than watch a band.

Reservations are recommended, and tables for parties under 20 can be booked online. Come to Pete’s when you want an interactive, loud, sing-along night with a group. If you specifically came to Nashville for live country music, this is not that, so plan it as a change of pace rather than the main event.
