PLAN YOUR NIGHT
Every option for getting to Broadway, getting around the strip, and getting home without paying a fortune. Honest take on each one, written by people who actually use them.
Nashville International Airport (BNA) is about 8 miles from Lower Broadway, roughly 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. Three real options:
If you’re rolling with 8+ people, a party bus is often the same price per person as Ubers once you factor in three trips between venues plus the airport runs. They pick you up at your hotel, run a loop between bars while your group is inside, and drop you back at the end of the night.
What to ask before you book:
Nashville Pedal Tavern runs the original 15-person pedal bus. There are now a half-dozen competitors. The pedal tavern itself is the entertainment, not a transportation method. Most loops cover six blocks and three or four bar stops over two hours. Bring cash for tips, wear closed-toe shoes, and assume the bachelorette in the matching shirt next to you will scream every chorus.
Pedicabs (bike taxis) are the move when you’re already on Broadway and want to get from one end of the strip to the other without walking. They’re tip-based: typical fare is $5 per block per person. Drivers don’t take card on the cheap rigs, so bring cash.
Honest take: Uber and Lyft from one Broadway venue to another are usually a bad call. Lower Broadway is four blocks long. Traffic is bumper-to-bumper from 5pm to 2am every weekend, and you’ll spend $15 plus the wait time to move two blocks. Walk it. The walking map is your friend.
If you’re driving in from out of town, the short version: park once at a downtown garage, walk Broadway. The garages on Commerce Street and Demonbreun are your best bets for evenings, usually $20 to $40 for the night depending on event volume. Street parking on Broadway is almost nonexistent after 4pm and gets towed aggressively.
