Barstool Nashville opened in summer 2023 as the first physical bar from Barstool Sports, the digital sports-media company run by Dave Portnoy. It sits at 123 2nd Avenue South in a landmark brick building looking out over the Cumberland River, a block off the Broadway core.

The space runs two levels with four full bars, a live-music stage, a DJ booth and a dance floor, plus a terrace patio over the water. Live bands play seven days a week, and the walls carry enough TVs to follow whatever game is on, which is the whole idea. The crowd is younger, heavy on Barstool followers and sports fans, and it leans party rather than country-music pilgrimage.

This is the spot if you want to watch a game and hear live music in the same building without choosing between the two. It is a sports bar with a media brand attached, not a honky-tonk, so the country-music purist will want to look elsewhere. VIP banquette seating is available for groups.
