LOWER BROADWAY · NASHVILLE
400 Broadway, Nashville, TN
Dierks Bentley’s multi-story bar with a rooftop on Lower Broadway.
Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row opened in January 2018 on the corner of Broadway and 4th, in a building from the late 1800s that country-music fans may know better as the former home of Gruhn’s Guitars. It is owned by Dierks Bentley and run by Riot Hospitality Group.
The venue spreads over three floors. The ground floor has two bars and a live-music stage. The second floor is a DJ-driven dance hall with a VIP section. On top is a rooftop patio that the bar promotes as the highest on Lower Broadway, with a clear line to the AT&T building that locals call the Batman building. The kitchen runs a gastropub menu, which is a step up from standard bar food. The crowd shifts through the day, country fans early and a party crowd late.
Whiskey Row is a strong all-rounder: a celebrity name, real food, a dance floor and one of the better rooftop views on the street. It takes reservations through its website and OpenTable, including bottle service and VIP tables. Book ahead if a rooftop table matters to you, because that view is the draw.
