LOWER BROADWAY · NASHVILLE
207 Broadway, Nashville, TN
A Lower Broadway honky-tonk with a packed daily live-music lineup.
Bootleggers Inn sits at 207 Broadway and runs a Prohibition theme top to bottom. The 1919 branding you will see is part of that theme rather than a founding date. The bar actually opened around May 2021, in the space that previously held the Decades nightclub.
There are two floors, each with its own stage and live music running all day. What sets Bootleggers apart from the honky-tonk next door is the moonshine. The bar keeps a dedicated moonshine setup with a deep selection of moonshine, bourbon and whiskey, which is a more specific focus than most Broadway bars bother with. The second floor also runs line-dancing lessons, so if you have ever wanted to actually learn the steps rather than watch, this is one of the few places on the strip that will teach you.
The crowd is the standard Broadway tourist mix. Come here if the moonshine angle appeals to you or you want a line-dancing lesson built into your night. It is a solid, mid-energy two-floor honky-tonk with a theme it actually commits to.
The live-music lineup for Bootleggers Inn is part of the Bars on Broadway schedule, refreshed every morning and night. Check tonight’s Broadway lineup →
